This is really simple way to have a new CIntro.
A CIntro is a video that loads when your PSP boots up.

#1
Download the Flash-free CIntro Mod.

#2 Take the files EBOOT.PBP, introcfg.ini, PmfPlayer.prx, and place them in:
ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/AUTOBOOT/

#3 Place the pmf that comes with it(intro.pmf) in:
ms0:/PSP/SYSTEM/INTRO/

#4 Now download auto.prx(Courtesy of me) from here and drop it in:
ms0:/seplugins/

#5 Get notepad or another text editing program and open vsh.txt
(vsh.txt is in the ms0:/seplugins/ folder, if there isn't one make it like this.)
Start a new line by pressing 'Enter' and type in: ms0:/seplugins/auto.prx and just save it as vsh.txt

#6 Now turn off your psp completely and hold the right shoulder button while its booting up.
In the recovery menu scroll down to "Plugins->" and press "X"
Then press "X" on ms0:/seplugins/auto.prx
Now just exit the menu and enjoy your new CIntro!

It will load on occasion when you exit a game also.
This plugin autoboots the pmf player EBOOT.PBP when you turn your PSP on and it plays a pmf video file which becomes your new CIntro.
For some reason the sony cintro still loads after your cintro even if you've disabled it in the recovery menu.
Lastly, to change the cintro delete the intro.pmf and put your own in.

Thanks for reading!!!

You need to clear this up and add numbered steps. It probably wouldn't hurt to go more in-depth as to WHAT is going on also.

I agree with dpm, try clearing up like the last step and such since possibly new members that haven't used plugins before wouldn't know how to do this.

Also, if you disable the SCE intro and then used that plugin to run the cintro will the sony intro still play too even if you have it disabled?

Ah ok, I hope he fixes the autoboot feature then soon. But this is a great alternative nonetheless.

i think its easier to use usbsss http://www.psp-hacks.com/download.php?id=1008 toggle the flash over usb, and copy the pmf into \flash0\vsh\resource

Easier yes, but not as safe, Plus there is a size limit in your Flash.

This tutorial is for a FLASHLESS Cintro.

@ Delvar

You need to install 1.50 Kernel.

its a app under the game folder that runs the .pmf you use. doesnt do a thing for startup. seems almost like a viewer of pmf's.

The auto.prx link is broken, could someone upload the file, or could roxfox fix?
